Do you have a wooden coat hanger which is untreated? Ie. no lacquer or varnish? I ask this as I would like to buy some for a wedding and want to burn names and dates on. Many thanks

Many thanks for your enquiry. I think they all have some kind of lacquer, but I think you would find these ones okay:

They only have a light wash, rather than a solid colour and are also designed to let the grain of the beechwood show through. It’s hard to be sure if it will work, but I guess the best thing would be to buy the smallest pack of shirt/dress hangers and have a go. They’re lovely hangers, so if it does work it could look really great.
